All the argillite presented here is of museum quality and was acquired directly from Haida Artisans, they are now available for collectors or anyone who appreciates the beauty and history of the Haidas argillite.
Enjoy your piece of argillite, but be careful because they are brittle and can be easily damaged. To bring back the black lustre you may apply a small amount of black shoe polish using a soft cloth or brush, avoid getting the polish on the inserts or by hand rubbing the argillite using the oils from your hand.

Our History
Argillite.ca
Argillite.ca originated from Mansons Jewellers in Prince Rupert. Mansons had the largest private collection of Argillite as well as a small collection for sale.
Mansons Jewellers opened in 1945 by Elmer "Al" Manson and wife Beatrice. Together they built a sucessful Jewellery and Gift store which was passed down to their daughters, Vanny and Valerie, who continued the success until they retired in 2016.
Argillite.ca has now become an online store to puchase your original, west coast art.
